2017 Newsletter

 

(1). 2017 annual meeting was completed as planned on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Arlington Height Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. Arlington Heights, IL 60006 USA.  Following were the agenda:

1. Review financial reports.
2. Review last year accomplishment:

a. Awarded  three  National Taiwan University Tuition Scholarship .

b. Supported the Taiwan School in Chicagoland
c. Supported the NATEA conference in Chicago.
d. Continued improving our website and resolved virus  and spam problem.

3. Presentation of a new project plan

4. Plan for next year:
a. Continue search for more global advisors
b. Continue search for more global representatives.
c. Add more new members.
d. Support Taiwan School in Chicagoland.
e. Support 2015 ITASA Midwest conference.
g. Support 2015 NATEA conference in Chicago.
h. Continue to fundraise for current projects.

2) 2017 scholarships have been approved as following:

             3 National Taiwan University undergraduate scholarships:
            Chen, Yua-Yang
            Lin, Su-Mei
           Chen, Yu-Fei

(5) 2016 annual meeting was completed as planned on Sunday, December 28, 2016 at Arlington Height Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. Arlington Heights, IL 60006 USA. Please see detail in the newletter

2015 Newsletter

(1) Five 2015 scholarships have been approved as following:

        1. international Graduate Student Scholarships:

             Bing Shuan Wu to study in Michigan, USA

             Fernando Chauo to study in London, England

       2. National Taiwan University undergraduate      scholarships:

            Shu-You Lin,   Lun-Kai Hsu ,  Yue-Yang Chen
